I am just elated! Lysa Terkeurst from Proverbs 31 Ministries left a comment on my last post! I have no idea how she knew that I posted about her ministry but I'm super excited! I put a link on my blog yesterday to her site! You should check it out, she's very inspirational!
Oh, and my purse type is the big purse! Looks like I need to get a small purse!

In other Leviner news..check out our girl in this picture! She loves Ms. Leah's dog Skip! Apparently he loves her too! She and Lila are eating breakfast and Skip is waiting for a tastey treat from Miss C! I can imagine that she's probably telling Skip, "no, no, Skip"!

About three or four years ago I made a very good life decision! It was simple! I just changed my radio station from 104.7 to 89.7! At first I would channel surf between the two stations! Then Caroline was born and I decided that it was best for my family to be constantly listening to positive Christian radio! Don't get me wrong a lot of radio stations offer encouragement, but I really found 89.7 to be our family friendly radio station! We love it! Both cars have the first radio key set to 89.7!
Every morning I listen to an excerpt on 89.7 from Lysa Terkeurst from Proverbs 31. Lysa always shares simple stories that will leave you thinking about your own life!
This morning's radio ministry message really spoke to me and I'm going to include it here (It's from the Proverbs 31 website). Today's title: "Your Purse". So, what kind of purse would you be? Read to find out!

Your Purse

Boy do I love purses, but mine isn’t always organized! Hi, I’m Lysa TerKeurst with Proverbs 31 Ministries. Recently a friend watched as I fumbled through my bag trying to find my keys and all kind of things started to spill out. We laughed about how much I’d been carrying around.
Then we started talking about the similarities between women and purses. Some of us are like a pretty purse, beautiful on the outside but hiding an ugly mess inside. Or maybe we’re like a small purse that only has room for a few things; God wants to invite us outside our comfort zone, but we’ve decided to stay safe. Or we could be like a big purse, trying to carry all kinds of things, involved in so many activities that we end up flustered!
I know we’re not handbags, but if we were what kind of purse would you be?

Miss C's first haircut!

On last Friday, Miss C had her very first

haircut at Sharkey's Cuts for Kids in Lexington!

She had a blast playing with the puppets and "trucks"

before getting her haircut!

She wanted her haircut in this very cool Barbie Jeep!

She drove the jeep all over town and watched Dora the Explorer

on the flat screen tv all while getting her haircut!

She absolutely loved it!

The Leviner's Fun Halloween Weekend!

Saturday night after LBC's Hallelujah Hoedown

we skipped on over to the Kneece's for their

annual Halloween party!

On Friday night we had a Halloween Sunday School gathering at the Harmons!

We had a lot of fun! Probably too much fun! We had a cookout and then enjoyed a bonfire! We had a DJ and even made our own smores! Yummy!

Our little trick-or-treater!

We had the absolute best time getting Miss C ready for all of the Halloween festivities this weekend! We did something every night this past weekend and she loved it! I think by Sunday night we were all worn out but it was worth it! I'm posting in reverse order so here's Halloween night!
