I've said it once and I'll say again, I love church camp and it's the best place on Earth! I think this is the first time since I've been attending camp that I didn't stay for the whole week! I did miss the days that we weren't there but I had so much fun over the days that we were!
I just love hanging out with family and friends old and new after a good church service or two!  Eating goodies and watching the children play is so much fun on those hot nights on The Leviner cabin front porch!

June 7th, we headed to the Charlotte airport to get our Big C, who had been in Africa for 3 weeks telling the Kenyans about Jesus. She had an experience of a lifetime! While visiting, at her house after her return, we viewed over 1,000 photos and heard beautiful stories. Although, not all stories were happy (she was assigned to an orphanage where many of the 30 children had horrific life experiences...events that you and I will never experience). She touched those wonderful people's lives in as much as they touched hers! We are very proud of Courtney's work in Africa. She, for sure, had a life changing experience 7,000+ miles from home! We love you Big C!
Here's photos of her return!
Signs are made! Let's go get our girl!

Awaiting her arrival!

There's our girl, all smiles, even after a 24 hour flight!

C has a big job!

June 3rd 2012 will be a day I'll always cherish and smile when I think about! It was the day that I was "Washed"! I grew up Presbyterian where the doctrine believes in infant baptisms. So pretty much I was baptized as a baby. As an adult, I believe that infants can't make their own free will decision so I chose to make this important public profession of faith... in a pond! Yes, the very one who is petrified of water that can't be seen through was baptized in a pond! My baptism was absolutely beautiful (minus the preanxiety before hand) and perfect and very special indeed! I am blessed to be His!

I am Washed!!

My former student, Josh, was also baptized!

I got to share this special moment with
my niece, Kelsey, too!

Caroline loved playing in the pond afterwards...
good clothes and all!

C having fun with her friends big and small!

Miss Sassy girl!

My sweet family!

What a special day!
